OSHA’s Dec 1 Deadline for GHS Training is Looming: Is Your Company Ready?
Lunch and Learn for Employers on the Globally Harmonized System
Under OSHA, all employers with hazardous chemicals in their workplaces must provide workers with training for the new Globally Harmonized System (GHS) by December 01, 2013. Under the GHS, product labeling, material safety data sheets (MSDS) and terminology have been updated and modified to more effectively communicate hazards to workers. This is a significant change from the Hazard Communication Standard, and many employers are confused about requirements and compliance methods.
Join us from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on September 25th, 2013 in Warsaw Indiana for a two hour train-the-trainer seminar to have your questions answered and understand implementation of the GHS! The training will be conducted by Leanne Coffman, Senior Management Consultant of the Safety Training Solution. The program includes lunch for attendees and digital materials necessary to train workers for compliance with OSHA’s new GHS requirements.
Who should attend? Safety Managers, EHS, Safety Team Members, or HR personnel responsible for compliance with OSHA standards.
